Our mission support is distributed locally, nationally and internationally.  Our annual offering is used to support mission projects and the wider church through the Presbytery, Synod and General Assembly.  Plus we support the church-wide special offerings:  One Great Hour of Sharing, Pentecost, Peacemaking and Christmas Joy.

In addition, we have several “hands-on” missions such as annual mobile health fairs, staffing the soup kitchen at North Church, Chagrin Falls Park Food Pantry, and the Christmas Angel Tree.

Our adult mission group has taken numerous trips to New Orleans to help renovate homes affected by Hurricane Katrina. The work consisted of cleaning up debris, caulking windows, re-sitting windows, patching holes and fixing the siding on the rear and front of the house. The eighty-year-old homeowner, Nellie, was thrilled with the work the Valley group was able to get done. It was quite a rewarding experience for both!

A remote mission of Valley is the Dougbe River Presbyterian School in Liberia, where they are celebrating a new school year.
